Methadone Treatment Center

SBLM programmed and designed the renovation and expansion of this busy opioid treatment center. The center was located on a noncontiguous lower and upper floor within a multi-story building. The staff and patients alike felt that the clinic’s worn-down interiors, crowded conditions and inconvenient separation of the two floors was awkward and inefficient and did little to promote wellness and healing.

SBLM’s design created a 23,000 sf medication-assisted opioid treatment on two adjoining floors. The expanded program included substance abuse counseling offices, group treatment rooms, a full service medical clinic, a medication transaction area, and rooms for various staff spaces and support functions. The program also included a new elevator, internal stairs and a private entrance in the lobby.
