Here, where an empty postal facility once stood, a vibrant place for shopping, dining, and care now takes root. SBLM turns the vision into reality with a layout that welcomes everyone—whether stopping for groceries, grabbing a coffee, or seeing a doctor.

Located in the Ferry Point section of the Bronx, SBLM designed the 330,000 square-feet Throggs Neck Shopping Center to replace the former U.S. Postal Service distribution center. The property was demolished and redeveloped into a new two-level mixed-use shopping plaza, comprised of retail, medical, and restaurant space. Retail giants like Target, TJ Maxx, and Petco stand side by side with community stores. For those dining, space was created for both for local cuisine as well as American favorites like Applebee’s and Starbucks.
