This project involved the comprehensive renovation of the existing 1950’s era school building requiring extensive infrastructure modernization. The substantial scope of work included complete re-roofing of the school building to address aging materials and improve weather protection. Major mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC components were upgraded to meet current DISD technical design guidelines and energy efficiency standards.

The project encompassed replacement of all extremely deteriorated window systems throughout the entire facility to enhance natural lighting and thermal performance. Additionally, the scope included reconstruction of a failing retaining wall system to ensure structural integrity and site safety. A complete automatic fire sprinkler system was installed to meet modern safety codes and protect occupants. Numerous other critical architectural and engineering system improvements will be implemented throughout the building to create a safe, functional, and modern educational environment.
