SBLM has supported Burlington’s expansion across the New York metropolitan area for more than a decade, planning new retail locations and adapting the company’s format to a wide range of building types. Since 2010, SBLM has been a preferred architectural partner for the retailer, completing over 70 stores throughout Greater New York. The work reflects Burlington’s continued growth across urban and suburban markets.

Each assignment begins with a review of the property to determine how the store program can be organized within the existing structure. SBLM evaluates floor plate configuration, available system capacities, access points, and zoning requirements to establish a workable layout. Planning focuses on clear customer movement, efficient merchandising routes, and the integration of back-of-house functions needed to support daily operations.
